4.282 fotografi e 73.996 immagini ma alla fine ne sono sopravvissuti 44, provenienti da 24 Paesi. Stiamo parlando del Word Press Photo 2020, il più importante concorso di fotogiornalismo del pianeta.
A selezionare i finalisti, divisi per categorie, è stata una giuria indipendente composta da 17 fotografi professionisti, guidati da Lekgetho Makola. I vincitori verranno annunciati il 16 aprile.
Ma bando alle ciance e scopriamo i candidati delle due categorie principali, ossia World Press Photo Story of the Year e World Press Photo of the Year. Vi ricordiamo che chi si aggiudicherà il premi porterà a casa ben 10.000 euro.
